The
Bourbon Pub / Parade is New Orleans’ largest gay
nightclub.
Operating continuously since 1974, it is the epicenter of the New Orleans
gay and lesbian community, and is located at the corner of Bourbon
and St. Ann Streets.
The club is actually two venues under
one roof. The
Bourbon Pub video
bar is located downstairs and features
100% digital
state-of-the-art HDTV video and
audio. The
Bourbon Pub is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It was recently described as “The Most Influential Video Bar
In The Country” by Creative Video Consulting,
the
Billboard of the music video industry.
Located upstairs, the Parade is New Orleans’
leading gay dance club. It has been named as
“The Best Dance Club in New Orleans”
and
"High Energy Nightclub of the Year" by
Dance Music Authority magazine. The award-winning
digital sound
system and light show were designed
and fine-tuned by some of the world’s leading
and most respected technicians.
It has twice been
named “National Nightclub of the Year” and recently
received
the coveted Zagat Nightlife "Award of
Excellence."
